Temporary Accountant - 6 months

Our client is seeking a qualified Accountant to join their dynamic team on a six-month fixed-term contract. This role involves managing the accounting and financial reporting requirements for a variety of entities. Job Duties:

• Prepare and review financial statements for companies in accordance with IFRS and FRS 102.
• Provide information for and manage the audit process for clients.
• Prepare the weekly, monthly, and quarterly management accounts.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial reporting projects, budgets and forecasts.
• Manage relationships with governing bodies such as HMRC.
• Build and develop relationships with clients, understanding their specific financial reporting needs.
• Manage the preparation, review and submission of VAT/CIS/NRL Returns and Corporation Tax Returns.

Job Requirements:

• ACA or ACCA qualified accountant or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, including IFRS and FRS 102.
• Proven experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in managing audits would be an advantage.
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
