Our client is an independent, leading provider of bespoke private wealth, corporate administration and yacht services to companies, individuals, and families across the globe. The role requires providing extensive support to the team to ensure continuity of the high-level service expected by private clients. This position is pivotal to the customer service and organisational strength of the team. Good verbal and communication skills are essential, alongside a strong ability to multi-task. On-the-job training will be provided on an ongoing basis, supported by external courses as required. Full support will also be given regarding professional study and continuing professional development.
Job Duties:
- Day-to-day running of own portfolio of clients, processed accurately and in a timely manner
- Liaising with professional intermediaries to source and implement tax, legal, and investment advice
- Ensuring statutory records are kept up to date and accurately maintained
- Conducting ongoing periodic reviews of entities as per risk classification
- Responding to queries raised via the Compliance Monitoring Programme
- Processing of new business and liaising with the compliance department
- Handling internal and external payments
- Collecting fees and actively following up on any debtor positions
- Collating and reviewing financial data relevant to the entity
- Ongoing review of the appropriateness of appointed third parties, such as investment and financial advisers
- Liaising with respective departments regarding accounting and taxation issues
- Communicating with clients and intermediaries both by telephone and in writing
- Assisting junior staff with queries and problems, aiding in resolution
- Adhering to scheme rules, policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
- Proactively raising issues to the line manager
- Providing high-quality and timely client service
Job Requirements:
- Ideally educated to ‘A’ Level standard, or beyond
- Ability to multitask and respond quickly to client/intermediary requests
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good numeracy and computer skills
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Previous experience of managing own portfolio of clients
- Good team player
- Ability to work to deadlines with minimal supervision
