Trust and Company Administrator

Our client is a young but highly experienced Guernsey-based, family-owned independent fiduciary and fund administration business specialising in the venture capital world. The Trust and Company Administrator will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients with oversight from the team manager. This full-time position involves day-to-day administration tasks and requires efficient communication with clients and third parties.

Job Duties:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, liaising with clients and advisors.
  • Maintain electronic and hard-copy client filing and entity database records.
  • Prepare trustee and board minutes, issue share certificates, and maintain statutory records.
  • Arrange and record trust distributions, loan payments, asset acquisitions and disposals, and expenses.
  • Maintain asset, nominee, and power of attorney registers.
  • Conduct bookkeeping and bank/asset reconciliations.
  • Review performance of entity investments.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual client entity accounts.
  • Prepare ad hoc reporting information for clients and advisors.
  • Assist with the preparation of administration reviews.
  • Review quarterly billing and collection of fees.
  • Collect and verify client due diligence, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Meet chargeability targets.
  • Follow all office and CFC procedures and address CFC reviews in a timely fashion.
  • Collect fees within one month of billing where possible.
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as required and provide cover for the team.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the offshore trust industry.
  • Preferably studying towards STEP or ICSA Diploma.
  • Willingness to continue with further training and develop knowledge as required.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work on one’s own initiative.
