Our client is currently seeking a temporary Part or Fully Qualified Accountant to join their Business Services and Outsourcing Team for an immediate start. This role is for a period of 3 months, with full-time positions considered for the right candidate.
Job Duties:
- Undertake accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Prepare financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Utilise strong knowledge of tax and accounts preparation in daily tasks.
- Apply working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Manage and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Leverage experience with systems such as Caseware, Autoentry, and Xero.
- Collaborate effectively within a team while also being able to work independently.
- Demonstrate local knowledge to enhance service delivery.
Job Requirements:
- AAT/CAT Qualification or part qualified.
- Experience in payroll, bookkeeping, and management accounts is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Proven ability to prepare accounts for a diverse range of clients.
- Ability to hit the ground running and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
