Consultant Administrator, Private Equity

Our client is a globally recognised financial institution with over 130 years of experience, currently seeking a Consultant Administrator in their Private Equity Operations team. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to work closely with a variety of Private Equity clients, ensuring that outstanding deliverables are met. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the administration team, providing support to manage either a diverse client portfolio or a large client with an active investment portfolio. Responsibilities include liaising with internal teams and Investment Advisors, managing cash workflows, and ensuring investor administration tasks are executed within strict deadlines. This is a full-time position, and it is imperative that all key performance indicators are met. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes seamlessly while contributing to the success of the team.

Job Duties:

  • Provide exceptional client service by developing strong relationships with Investment Advisors and third parties.
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of clients and their unique requirements regarding key processes.
  • Collaborate with clients to address complex issues and queries effectively.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of client-related tasks.
  • Oversee and manage key client deliverables, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
  • Engage in projects relating to complex client requirements in fund administration.
  • Execute daily cash management processes, adhering to established policies.
  • Process and review foreign exchanges as needed.
  • Handle invoice processing on bespoke client systems.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of client funds and bank statements.
  • Manage end-to-end investor call/distribution processes.
  • Complete signatory tasks associated with bank updates and investor transfers.
  • Address investor tax reporting requirements and maintain investor audit confirmation communications.
  • Collaborate in the risk management process, identifying efficiencies to mitigate risks.

Job Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Senior Fund Administrator, ideally with signatory responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with the fund administration sector and strength in managing multiple priorities.
  • A proactive approach with a strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with an ability to communicate effectively.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel, with familiarity in Investran considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments, relevant local regulations, and laws in the financial sector.
  • While a business or financial services qualification is advantageous, it is not essential.
  • A team player with the ability to work autonomously under pressure, displaying flexibility in task management.
