Our client is seeking a Senior / Fund Administrator to join their Private Equity Operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to a diverse range of private equity clients. The successful candidate will be working full time and will engage in various activities, such as liaising with internal teams, completing bespoke client tasks, and managing investment administration while catering to ad-hoc queries. With a focus on delivering outstanding client service, this position involves building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to meet all key performance indicators. The candidate will gain an in-depth understanding of clients' unique requirements and key processes performed within their systems. Additionally, the role demands a collaborative approach, supporting fellow team members and rotating tasks as necessary.
Job Duties:
- Provide premier client service by building strong relationships with the Investment Advisor and other third parties to resolve queries.
- Develop thorough knowledge of client bespoke requirements in key processes within their systems.
- Support monitoring of assigned mailboxes and complete tasks assigned by the senior fund administrator or management.
- Assist other team members with workloads and facilitate task rotation on a regular basis.
- Create and maintain investment and portfolio records in clients' bespoke systems, including processing purchases and disposals, and monitoring valuations.
- Undertake daily cash management duties, bookkeep valuations, perform reconciliations, and prepare invoice coding for fund products.
- Develop specific knowledge to facilitate regular reporting for senior management, finance, investor relations, and deal teams.
- Complete ad-hoc queries for investors and support preparation of reports within set deadlines.
- Identify efficiencies to reduce risk, ensuring effective use of available technology, and report any operational issues promptly.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in fund administration of private equity funds, credit funds, or perpetual funds is essential.
- A business or financial services qualification or progress towards one is preferable.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, with the ability to learn new systems; data literacy skills are advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities and escalate issues as necessary.
- Strong customer service orientation with attention to quality and effectiveness in communication.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work within a team.
