Our client is offering a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join them as a Trainee Administrator in their Trust department. This role is pivotal to the success of the business, supporting the wider Fund and Corporate team in servicing a diverse and exciting portfolio of clients. You will gain valuable experience across a range of responsibilities, including client relationship management, governance services, and administration within a dynamic, supportive environment alongside like-minded individuals. The position aims to enhance your skills while contributing positively to the overall effectiveness of the team.
Job Duties:
- Provide assistance to the administration staff
- Prepare draft minutes and resolutions for entities under management (including companies and trusts)
- Prepare payments on electronic banking systems and through written instructions as needed, ensuring sufficient funds and complete documentation for authorisers
- Assist with the update of client statutory records and statutory database/registers
- Aid in the opening of bank accounts, including minute preparation
- Assist with bookkeeping for entities under management
- Consider "Money Laundering" and "Customer Due Diligence" issues diligently, reporting any concerns as appropriate
- Provide general assistance with various projects as required
- Complete and input time into the time billing system daily
- Fulfil any other duties as required in line with team needs and changing functions
- Adhere to and display the vision and values of our client in all aspects of the role
Job Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and related software
- Organised and proactive in approach
- High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail
- Sound academic background with a minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grades A-C, including English and Mathematics
- Desire to pursue or currently working towards an industry-recognised qualification
- Previous general office experience is preferred but not essential
