Trainee Trust Administrator

Our client is seeking a Trainee Trust Administrator to join their team. This role involves supporting the administration of complex structures for ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs). The position is a full-time role with a focus on day-to-day administration tasks. The Trainee Trust Administrator will assist in statutory administration, document preparation, and system updates while also providing cover for other managed entities when necessary. You will be engaged in communication with clients and intermediaries, and there may be occasional travel. The ideal candidate will need to adhere to operational procedures while also contributing to the implementation of new processes. Job Duties:

  • Work as part of a small team responsible for complex structures for UHNWIs.
  • Perform all aspects of day-to-day administration, including statutory administration, preparation of minutes and resolutions, payments, and system updates.
  • Provide cover for other managed entities as required.
  • Support senior staff in client and intermediary liaison through various communication methods.
  • Create and update schedules and bespoke client reporting as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to key operating procedures in line with the Staff Handbook and Procedures Manual.
  • Scan and file valuable documents securely.
  • File minutes and resolutions accordingly.
  • Run general errands, including notary appointments and urgent deliveries, as required.
  • Undertake ad hoc duties as directed by the administration team or support other departments.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferably have experience in basic trust and corporate administration or a related role with transferable skills.
  • Hold a professional qualification, be working towards one, or be willing to study.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Possess good written and oral communication skills.
  • Exhibit strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Be self-motivated, proactive, and possess a good team spirit.
  • Display flexibility and a willingness to meet deadlines.
  • Be computer literate, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
