Assistant Manager, Fund Administration

Our client, an award-winning provider of private wealth, fund, and corporate administration services, is looking for an Assistant Manager to enhance their Fund Administration team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for supporting the administration of a complex range of private capital structures, including funds and corporates. The Assistant Manager will facilitate the establishment of new structures and the transition of switch business, ensuring adherence to the company's efficient practices. With a commitment to exceptional service quality, you will play a key role in enhancing the client experience throughout the lifecycle of their engagements. Additionally, the role demands maintenance and development of strong client and advisor relationships, backed by comprehensive knowledge of clients’ structures and current market trends. You will also guide more junior staff while collaborating with senior personnel, ensuring that operational standards are met. This full-time role is essential for driving the efficacy and success of the business unit.

Job Duties:

  • Support the administration of a complex range of private capital structures and associated entities.
  • Assist in establishing new structures and transitioning switch business efficiently.
  • Deliver exceptional service and enhance the client experience throughout the lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and advisors, demonstrating responsiveness and expertise.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff under the supervision of senior management.
  • Coordinate company secretarial matters, ensuring compliance in preparation and attendance at board and shareholder meetings.
  • Oversee routine and complex fund operations, such as investor calls and distributions.
  • Ensure accurate execution and meticulous recording of all related activities.
  • Collaborate with line managers, providing suggestions for improvements and demonstrating a proactive approach to learning.
  • Adhere to company workflows, policies, and procedures, while also contributing ideas for improving efficiency.

Job Requirements:

  • Self-motivated, personable, and eager to learn.
  • Comprehension of quality client service principles and practices.
  • Demonstrable experience in a funds environment at a similar level.
  • Ability to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Deadline-oriented with a flexible and collaborative working style.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial services, including current regulatory and legal considerations.
  • Capacity to manage tasks independently and responsibly.
  • ICSA/ACCA/ACA qualified or currently studying towards these qualifications.
