Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator / Assistant Manager for Client Reviews on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This hybrid role involves assisting with the administrative duties and activities required to support the successful management and completion of client reviews. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of tasks such as drafting client profiles, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures. This position requires a proactive approach and a commitment to delivering excellent client service within the regulatory framework of the industry. The candidate will collaborate with team members and report to the line manager regularly.
Job Duties:
- Assist in the review and drafting of client profiles and risk assessments, including post client-onboarding, periodic, reduced services, and PEP reviews for multiple jurisdictions.
- Ensure that reviews are conducted in accordance with the organisation’s policies, legal obligations, and client confidentiality.
- Evaluate screening outputs from World-check 1 and media checks.
- Undertake scanning and filing responsibilities.
- Support management in resolving issues identified during various types of reviews.
- Assist in the timely production of Management Information.
- Collaborate on projects with team members and communicate progress to the line manager.
- Undertake any other duties as deemed necessary by management.
- Maintain knowledge of and compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Adhere to risk and compliance procedures related to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
- Uphold the core values and expected behaviours of the organisation.
- Comply with CPD requirements per qualification level and in-house procedures.
Job Requirements:
- A good understanding of risk factors.
- Relevant experience and knowledge of risk and compliance standards and practices within the finance industry in Jersey.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with a flexible work approach.
- Ability to review and resolve issues effectively.
- Self-motivated and proactive in achieving excellent client service.
- A positive attitude and a strong team player.
- Good keyboard skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, and an ability to learn internal systems.
