Statutory Officer

Our client is seeking a dynamic Statutory Officer to ensure regulatory compliance and deliver high-quality client service. This full-time position involves managing various statutory responsibilities across multiple jurisdictions. The role includes preparing and filing Annual Returns, handling company formations, and overseeing the appointment and resignation of Company Officers. The selected candidate will contribute to maintaining high standards of internal efficiency while also supporting junior colleagues in developing their technical knowledge. An understanding of regulatory requirements is essential, along with the ability to assist the New Business team with onboarding processes. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in the fiduciary sector and may hold or be working towards a relevant professional qualification.

Job Duties:

• Manage Annual Return preparation and filing for multiple jurisdictions
• Handle company formations, transfers, restorations, and conversions
• Manage the appointment and resignation of Company Officers and maintain statutory registers
• Process share transfers and other essential statutory documentation
• Ensure compliance with Beneficial Owner reporting
• Support junior colleagues to build technical knowledge and expertise
• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of internal customer efficiency
• Assist the New Business team with onboarding
• Maintain a clear understanding of regulatory requirements
• Undertake any other tasks as may be required from time to time

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in the fiduciary sector
• Strong technical competence with the ability to share knowledge effectively
• Holding or actively working towards a professional qualification is advantageous
