Junior Fund & Investment Administrator

Our client is seeking a Junior Fund & Investment Administrator to join their operations team on a permanent basis, working 35 hours per week. Established in Guernsey, our client is a financial and fiduciary services provider that offers tailored solutions and offshore investment options. As a reputable service provider, they specialise in wealth management areas, including the formation and administration of trusts and companies, managed services, investments, property management, and fund administration. The role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual to build a career in fund and investment administration while developing long-lasting relationships with clients, both individual and corporate. Job Duties:

  • Collection and review of shareholder Client Due Diligence and account opening documentation
  • Processing shareholder deals
  • Preparation of fund valuations (weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual) using the AcuFund accounting system in accordance with company procedures
  • Reviewing Investment Advisor trade recommendations to ensure compliance with the fund's investment restrictions and sending instructions to the fund's custodian
  • Managing shareholder communications
  • Executing shareholder and fund payments using various banking systems
  • Conducting client bank account reconciliations
  • Performing file and risk reviews of fund shareholders
  • Liaising with fund custodians
  • Assisting with compliance related to regulatory requirements
  • Contributing to project work as required
  • Supporting management with additional tasks as directed
  • Placing trades
  • Uploading new securities to QCore
  • Handling bookkeeping and reconciliation of Trust and Company client investments
  • Booking trades for Trust and Company clients using various trading platforms
  • Undertaking any other duties as requested by management

Job Requirements:

  • No experience necessary
  • Highly numerate
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines with attention to detail
  • Capable of working both individually and as part of a team
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 and above, including English and Maths
  • Optional 3 A-levels at grade C - A*
  • Willingness to work towards a relevant professional qualification after probation
  • Strong PC literacy and spreadsheet skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel (ability to program using formulas), Outlook, PowerPoint
