Our client is a leading financial and fiduciary services provider established in Guernsey. They specialise in bespoke, expert solutions and offshore investment alternatives, covering areas of wealth management ranging from Trusts and Companies formation and administration to Managed Services, Investments, Property Management, and Fund Administration. This is a permanent position offering a 35-hour work week.
Job Duties:
- Collection and review of shareholder Client Due Diligence and review of account opening documentation
- Processing shareholder deals
- Preparing and verifying Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Bi-Annual, and Annual fund valuations using the AcuFund accounting system in accordance with company procedures
- Reviewing Investment Advisor trade recommendations to ensure compliance with the fund’s investment restrictions and sending instructions to the fund’s custodian
- Managing shareholder communications
- Processing shareholder and fund fee payments using various banking systems
- Conducting client bank account reconciliations
- Carrying out file and risk reviews of fund shareholders
- Liaising with fund custodians and fund auditors
- Assisting with compliance regarding regulatory requirements
- Supporting project work as required
- Checking trade orders prior to authorisation
- Placing trades for trust and company clients
- Processing trade payments
- Maintaining various internal spreadsheets
- Completing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) documentation for fund managers
- Processing dividend reinvestments and cash dividend payments
- Producing monthly market comparison reports
- Monitoring and managing the central investment email inbox
- Preparing and checking funds' regulatory returns
- Preparing FATCA/CRS Reporting
- Compiling Administration reports for inclusion in funds' Board Packs
- Undertaking any other duties as requested by management
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in fund administration
- Highly numerate with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team
- ICA or Guernsey Offshore Certificate preferred, but fund administration experience is essential
