Business Intelligence Senior Manager

Our client is seeking a Business Intelligence Senior Manager to become the authoritative owner of key management information and performance indicators across the organisation. This role is critical in ensuring consistent definitions, data lineage, and business logic throughout all business units. As a key partner to the Group Executive, Business Unit Managing and Executive Directors, and Group Finance Director, the Business Intelligence Senior Manager bridges the gaps between finance, operations, technology, and product. This position involves ownership of Groupwide metric definitions, shaping business decisions in collaboration with senior leadership, and leading the Business Intelligence function in delivering automated, accurate, and actionable insights. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing the Group's data architecture, improving data quality, and ensuring effective system integrations. The role will also involve producing forecasts and analyses for potential future business and financial scenarios, contributing to the strategic direction of various Business Units including Platform, Asset Management, Banking, and Group Services.

Job Duties:

• Production of Key Management Information and Performance Indicators including revenue drivers by determined metrics, distribution of new business, and profitability analysis.
• Development and management of costing models and departmental cost models to identify key areas of change.
• Forecasting and analysis of potential future business and financial scenarios, including dynamic modelling to evaluate growth opportunities.
• Supporting improvements in data integrity and availability within core systems, with the aim of enhancing business analytics.
• Functional leadership on data warehouse architecture, ensuring scalable, consistent, and automated data pipelines.
• Management of the Business Intelligence department, ensuring alignment of team objectives with Group objectives and coaching BI analysts.
• Definition of BI development standards and management of team workload, sprint planning, and prioritisation of tasks.

Job Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of the full Microsoft package, particularly Power BI, Excel, and Dynamics CRM.
• Good understanding of SQL and DAX, alongside solid knowledge of financial services products within Platform, Asset Management, and Banking sectors.
• Experience in designing cost allocation methodologies and profitability models.
• Proven experience overseeing change impacts on management information, such as system upgrades and product launches.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, possessing the ability to understand and communicate complex concepts effectively to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work autonomously while embracing a problem-solving mindset.
• Willingness to expand knowledge and responsibilities in the role.
• Strong understanding of AI and its applications in business intelligence.
