Senior Client Accounting Administrator

Key responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with UK and international accounting standards, as well as maintaining compliance with all company policies and best practices. The Senior Client Accounting Administrator will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality service to clients while adhering to deadlines. The role also involves assisting with various accounting-related queries and supporting the Client Accounting Manager with change initiatives. Job Duties:

  • Assist in the preparation of trust and company financial statements in line with accounting standards
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Help prepare and update the annual accounts preparation workplan
  • Provide cover for client bookkeeping during staff holidays, as needed
  • Assist the Client Accounting Manager with testing and implementing change initiatives
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient service delivery to clients
  • Maintain communication with senior colleagues to manage workloads and deadlines effectively
  • Complete all documentation under the PlainSail timekeeping system
  • Address any accounting-related queries from the administration teams
  • Undertake any other relevant duties as requested by the manager

Job Requirements:

  • Sound understanding of a variety of accounting tasks and processes
  • Attainment or progress towards ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualifications, while meeting CPD requirements
  • Effective communication skills, adaptable to various audiences
  • Ability to identify and resolve non-complex issues with guidance
  • Competency in prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines with support
  • Awareness of service standards and proposing solutions for straightforward issues
  • Positive and committed approach to teamwork, recognising the importance of collaboration
