Junior Trust Administrator

Our client is seeking a Junior Trust Administrator to join a busy team dedicated to providing exceptional service in the administration of a diverse portfolio of Trusts and Companies. This permanent role offers the opportunity to manage the needs of private clients, working closely with relationship managers in South Africa and directly with clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of client transactions, maintaining a high level of accuracy and reliability, and demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills. The position requires excellent organisational abilities to effectively juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment while also being flexible to changing business needs.

Job Duties:

  • Assisting with the general administration of a portfolio of Trusts and Companies
  • Performing statutory work including minutes, agreements, and Trust Instruments as required
  • Liaising with clients, intermediaries, and other institutions
  • Managing the purchase and sale of a wide range of investments and assets
  • Processing payments, distributions, invoices, and investments
  • Conducting client due diligence to ensure CDD is up-to-date
  • Completing investment applications, redemptions, W-8BEN-E forms, introducer certificates, and proxy forms
  • Assisting with coverage for team members during absences
  • Undertaking any other duties as requested by management

Job Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and adapt to changing business and departmental needs
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new regulations and environments
  • Excellent administrative skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
