Our client is seeking a temporary Senior Onboarding Officer on a fixed-term contract. This role is exclusively available to residents of the Isle of Man. The successful candidate will monitor and review all new personal account applications from various distribution channels, providing assistance with training, support, and the checking of new starters' applications. They will ensure the sign-off of 'Standard & Medium Risk' rated accounts in alignment with regulatory, internal, and group requirements, ultimately contributing to a positive overall client experience.
Job Duties:
- Conduct onboarding reviews of all new personal account applications from various distribution channels, ensuring timely reviews.
- Review files and information on potential new clients across all risk ratings, identifying deficiencies and resolving queries.
- Ensure that new business reviews comply with the “Client Take on and Maintenance Manual” updated by Compliance.
- Validate the source of funds following Compliance guidelines and secure relevant business/compliance approvals prior to account opening.
- Conduct relevant searches, including internet and Accuity/Finscan queries, to identify adverse media, PEP connections, sanctions considerations, and corroborate activities/source of wealth.
- Prepare account opening packs for Compliance/Director approval and perform checks on tax classification.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in corporate onboarding of customer accounts and client risk management.
- Strong communication skills for articulating information and interacting with clients.
- Proven ability to manage tasks, meet timescales, and produce outputs consistently.
- Technical competencies in application & submission verification, customer experience attitude, and query resolution.
