Senior Trust Administrator

Our client is seeking a Senior Trust Administrator to join their team, responsible for supporting the operational aspects of trust administration. The role involves managing a diverse portfolio of trust clients while ensuring exceptional service delivery. The administrator will work closely with an Engagement Lead and assist in developing client relationships, thereby contributing to the growth of new business referral channels. The ideal candidate will cultivate a "can do" culture within their team, fostering commercial awareness and efficiency. The position offers an opportunity to be at the forefront of service delivery and to ensure that the organisation aligns with overall strategic goals regarding its fiduciary services. The successful applicant will also have a key role in the management of client relationships, reporting significant matters to senior management and maintaining a consistent high level of technical support across the team.

Job Duties:

  • Manage relationships with trust clients under the guidance of the Engagement Lead
  • Administer all aspects of trust structures, ensuring adherence to best practices
  • Highlight and report significant matters requiring senior management attention
  • Maintain proactive awareness for effective client relationship management
  • Provide high-level technical support to Senior Managers and Leads
  • Control work in progress, billing and debtor management per company policies
  • Support the development of new business referral channels

Job Requirements:

  • Attained or currently pursuing a recognised professional qualification such as ICSA or STEP
  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant financial services environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish productive relationships at all levels
  • Technical experience in trust and fiduciary structure administration
  • Strong commercial acumen and organisational skills
  • Positive "can do" attitude with a friendly and professional manner
  • Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work
  • Competent in Microsoft applications and fiduciary management/data storage software
