Head of Operations

Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead and oversee both the Wealth and Corporate Operations departments in Guernsey. This pivotal role sits within the Executive Committee, and the successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of operations, ensuring robust transaction processing, operational reporting, and high-quality service delivery. With a focus on effective people management, the Head of Operations will support and guide the operations teams through periods of change, fostering an environment that promotes transparency and collaboration. The role requires an excellent communicator with a proven track record in operations management. This is a full-time position.

Job Duties:

• Lead the Wealth and Corporate Operations departments, ensuring operational excellence
• Oversee transaction processing and operational reporting
• Ensure high-quality service delivery across all operations
• Provide leadership and support during periods of organisational change
• Foster effective communication within the teams and across the wider organisation
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a financial services environment
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively and promote a team-focused environment
• Experience in managing change and driving operational improvements
• Relevant qualifications in operations or a related field would be advantageous
