Business Marketing Manager

Our client has an increased focus on business marketing as a key driver for growing business revenues. This role is dedicated to the business segment and involves close collaboration with the product, sales, and professional services teams to develop the marketing plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, enhancing our client’s reputation in the business segment across the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing brand awareness and lead-generating marketing campaigns, managing media planning and budgeting, and developing digital content strategies. In addition, the role includes creating collateral for Corporate Account Directors and overseeing educational events and corporate hospitality initiatives. This position requires understanding and compliance with regulatory rules, data protection law, and health and safety responsibilities relevant to the role. The postholder will be expected to manage budgets and campaign reporting efficiently while being the main point of contact for partner distributor channels and suppliers.

Job Duties:

  • Deliver brand awareness and lead-generating marketing campaigns
  • Engage with teams within the organisation for campaign development and execution
  • Manage media planning, budgeting, and contract negotiation
  • Develop and manage external website content via CMS system and digital strategies
  • Create and produce marketing collateral for Corporate Account Directors
  • Develop engaging digital content for social media channels
  • Execute and maintain the Business brand strategy
  • Coordinate educational events for customers and manage corporate hospitality initiatives
  • Attend off-island trade shows and conferences to showcase the business brand
  • Be the main point of contact for partner distributor channels
  • Manage marketing development funds in alignment with the budget
  • Oversee supplier relationships for co-marketing plans and campaigns
  • Report on campaign metrics and manage inbound lead processes

Job Requirements:

  • Educated to CIM/Degree level
  • Minimum five years’ experience in marketing communications
  • Proven track record in campaign planning, event execution, and digital strategy
  • Experience managing above-the-line agencies
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers in an outsourcing environment
  • Highly desirable: experience in corporate/B2B marketing and telecoms/IT sector
  • Event management and partner management experience preferred
  • Personal attributes: dedicated, enthusiastic, team player, strong attention to detail, and ability to multitask
