Temporary Sales & Marketing Graphic Designer - 6 months

Our client is seeking a Temporary Sales & Marketing Graphic Designer to play a pivotal role in their marketing and brand management efforts over a six-month fixed-term contract. This full-time role will be based in Guernsey and is ideal for an entry-to-mid level designer eager to enhance their experience in a dynamic e-commerce environment. The successful candidate will support the sales and marketing department by delivering creative designs that align with both digital and print requirements. With a primary focus on Amazon optimisation, digital campaign delivery, and online content creation, the designer will ensure that all assets are engaging, compliant, and conversion-focused. Additionally, the role includes contributions to in-store design and local marketing initiatives, helping to maintain brand consistency across all customer touchpoints. The candidate will collaborate closely with colleagues in marketing, ecommerce, and retail, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced setting while adapting creatively within established brand guidelines.

Job Duties:

  • Support the Amazon channel through optimisation activities, including product image guidelines and storefront updates.
  • Create assets for paid and organic digital campaigns.
  • Contribute to video creation for e-commerce and advertising purposes.
  • Adapt creative across formats while maintaining brand consistency and performance standards.
  • Design in-store merchandising assets in alignment with monthly campaigns.
  • Create point-of-sale materials, signage, and visual merchandising assets to support store trading.
  • Support local marketing campaigns through the creation of print, digital, and social media advertising assets.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Retail Operations, and external agency partners to support store concepts and expansions.
  • Design email assets to support store-led customer relationship management (CRM) activity.
  • Create social media assets that engage with local audiences for store launches.
  • Attend UK stores periodically to assist with launches, installations, or concept development.
  • Work closely with the Sales & Marketing Designer to ensure creative alignment and brand consistency.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Job Requirements:

  • Proactive and reliable, with a practical mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, commercial environment.
  • Collaborative and approachable, possessing strong communication skills.
  • Adaptable and eager to develop skills across multiple channels.
  • Entry-to-mid level experience in a graphic design role.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
  • Experience designing for both print and digital channels.
  • Exposure to retail environments and/or e-commerce platforms is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work confidently within brand guidelines.
