  • Manage client interactions by responding to queries, explaining processes, and ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Oversee the administration of the policy lifecycle, including quoting, new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments, and policy issuance.
  • Support broking activities by obtaining quotes, liaising with insurers, and preparing documentation (on an execution-only basis).
  • Ensure all policy records are accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready by liaising with third-party providers.
  • Handle claims processes from notification through to settlement, adhering to agreed procedures.
  • Process premiums, including direct debit runs and payment reconciliation, while monitoring and resolving failed or outstanding payments.
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly bordereaux (premium, claims, and reinsurance), ensuring accuracy and timeliness of submissions.
  • Support financial and bookkeeping processes, including reconciliation of client monies where required.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls, contributing to the maintenance and annual review of internal policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • 4-5 years relevant experience in insurance management, broking, or a similar financial services environment.
  • Practical experience in quoting, renewals, policy administration, claims handling processes, and client servicing.
  • Experience preparing and reconciling bordereaux and commission calculations.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, displaying confidence in dealing with clients and insurers.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise across multiple clients.
  • Proactive approach, responsible for assigned tasks, following them through to completion, and escalating where appropriate.
