This role involves closely collaborating with management to handle the day-to-day administration of various client funds and investment structures. Working in a hybrid mode, the position is full-time, based in St Helier, Jersey. The successful candidate will maintain and expand their knowledge of fund administration, ensuring compliance with policies and legislative requirements at all times. Responsibilities span administering a portfolio that includes venture capital and private equity structures, alongside developing strong relationships with team members and clients to provide professional service. The role includes ensuring adherence to KYC procedures and monitoring risk profiles while offering guidance to junior staff members. Furthermore, the role entails effective billing and debt collection processes, as well as fulfilling other duties as required.
Job Duties:
- Administer a diverse portfolio of fund structures, including both regulated and unregulated vehicles.
- Cultivate close working relationships with team members and key clients, maintaining regular contact.
- Provide innovative and practical solutions to client queries while ensuring technical accuracy.
- Ensure thorough compliance with KYC procedures to maintain knowledge of client businesses.
- Monitor risk exposure and follow risk/review procedures diligently.
- Escalate any issues to the management team and directors promptly.
- Act as a mentor to junior team members, offering guidance and support.
- Manage billing and debt collection effectively and in a timely manner.
- Undertake any additional duties as reasonably required.
Job Requirements:
- Enhanced technical knowledge, with a relevant professional qualification (such as ACCA Intermediate level, ICSA Diploma, CIB, or STEP Diploma) and experience in offshore senior administration.
- Excellent organisational and client management skills, with a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and local regulatory environments.
- Professional manner with the ability to relate to individuals across all levels and to respond quickly to clients' needs.
- Advanced technical proficiency, including knowledge of relevant software and systems.
- Strong time management skills and thorough understanding of client files.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop relationships with clients and identify marketing opportunities.
- In-depth knowledge of compliance and technical issues to effectively support junior staff.
