Contract Accounts Services Administrator - 6 months

This fixed term contract role as an Accounts Services Administrator offers the opportunity to provide vital administrative support across various departments including Debit Card, Internet Banking, Scanning, and Static teams. The position is based in the Isle of Man and is exclusively available to candidates with residency and the right to work in this location. Over the duration of the 6-month contract, the successful candidate will follow set procedures to ensure the delivery of account services in an effective and timely manner, meeting agreed service level agreements. Duties will include completing debit card instructions, managing internet banking registrations, and facilitating password and memorable date changes for personal and corporate clients. Furthermore, the role entails maintaining up-to-date customer information and identifying areas for improvement within current processes. Continuous professional development through internal training programs and learning sessions is also encouraged to enhance operational knowledge and efficiency. The start date will be confirmed upon selection, with the contract expected to end six months thereafter.

Job Duties:

  • Adhere to banking standards, policies, procedures, and service charters for efficient account service provision.
  • Complete debit card related instructions and internet banking registrations for both personal and corporate clients.
  • Follow set processes to ensure activities meet accuracy service standards and service level agreements.
  • Identify and report continuous improvement opportunities to the manager.
  • Maintain and update customer information in line with accuracy service standards.
  • Engage in professional development by completing internal training programmes and attending learning sessions.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of end-to-end processes across all operational functions.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification: Secondary/High school/A levels.
  • 1-2 years of experience, ideally in a banking operations role, though not essential.
  • Strong adherence to procedures and service standards.
  • Ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Competency in business intelligence and client relationship management.
  • Skills in continuous improvement and creative problem-solving.
  • Understanding of operations risk management and commercial acumen.
