Social Media Coordinator

This is a full-time role based in Jersey, focused on social media management, content coordination, client communication, and content creation. The Social Media Coordinator will play a vital role in managing client accounts and ensuring that campaigns are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the role involves working closely with a creative team while aligning with client expectations. The successful candidate should possess a keen interest in social media and a knack for balancing creativity with organisation. Key responsibilities include managing social media accounts, coordinating content production, and acting as the primary point of contact for clients. As the agency continues to expand, this role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and skill development.

Job Duties:

  • Manage social media accounts across multiple client campaigns
  • Plan and maintain monthly content calendars
  • Schedule and publish content across key social media platforms
  • Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Stay up to date with platform updates, trends, and emerging content formats
  • Coordinate content production across multiple client accounts
  • Organise approvals, feedback, and publishing schedules
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard
  • Maintain strong organisation across projects, assets, and content workflows
  • Create engaging social media content using Canva and other creative tools
  • Assist with content ideation and campaign planning
  • Write captions, social media copy, and content briefs
  • Coordinate professional content shoots with clients and production teams
  • Manage content approvals and feedback processes

Job Requirements:

  • Experience managing social media accounts for businesses or brands
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other major platforms
  • Excellent written communication and literacy skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Confidence in communicating with clients and internal teams
  • Canva experience and basic content design skills
  • Awareness of current social media trends and content formats
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of projects
