The Senior Administrator for Fund Services will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of a diverse portfolio of client funds and investment structures. This full-time role involves maintaining and developing a comprehensive understanding of fund administration, particularly for regulated entities, while ensuring compliance with internal policies, anti-money laundering measures, and relevant legislation. The position requires close collaboration with the management team to facilitate the smooth operation of the portfolio and uphold a high standard of service to clients. The successful candidate will foster strong relationships with both team members and clients, ensuring effective communication and support. Additionally, the role entails monitoring the risk profile of client matters and acting as a mentor to junior staff. Job Duties:
- Administer a portfolio of fund structures, including venture capital and private equity vehicles, both regulated and unregulated.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members and clients through regular interactions.
- Provide innovative and practical responses to client queries, balancing commercial considerations with technical accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures to maintain up-to-date knowledge of client businesses.
- Monitor risk exposure by adhering to risk/review procedures, escalating issues as necessary to management.
- Mentor junior team members, offering guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
- Manage billing and debt collection processes efficiently and promptly.
- Undertake any additional duties as reasonably required for the role.
Job Requirements:
- An enhanced level of technical knowledge, including a relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA Intermediate level, ICSA Diploma, CIB, STEP Diploma) and experience at the senior administration level in the offshore industry.
- Excellent organisational and client management skills with a thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and the local regulatory environment.
- Strong awareness of risk factors and compliance procedures.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to engage clients effectively and identify their needs promptly.
- Detailed knowledge of internal software and systems, alongside good time management skills.
- A strong understanding of financial management issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential for cultivating strong relationships with clients and identifying marketing opportunities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of compliance and technical issues to serve as a role model for peers and junior staff.
