Administrator, Fund Services

This role involves the day-to-day administration of a diverse portfolio of client funds and investment structures. The Administrator will work closely with their Manager to ensure adherence to policies and procedures, as well as compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and relevant legislation. The position requires maintaining a broad understanding of fund administration, particularly with regulated entities. Responsibilities include liaising with the management team to ensure a seamless operation and delivering a high-quality service to clients. The Administrator will also develop close working relationships with both internal team members and clients, providing innovative solutions to client queries while remaining vigilant to commercial considerations and technical accuracy. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior team members, ensuring compliance with KYC procedures, and monitoring the risk profiles of client matters. The successful candidate will effectively manage billing and debt collection activities and undertake other related duties as required.

Job Duties:

  • Administer a portfolio of fund structures, including credit, real estate, regulated, and unregulated vehicles.
  • Develop strong working relationships with team members and clients.
  • Provide innovative answers to client queries while considering commercial concerns and technical accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with KYC procedures and understand the client's business.
  • Maintain awareness of risk exposure and follow risk/review procedures.
  • Escalate issues promptly to management and directors as appropriate.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and advice.
  • Ensure timely billing and debt collection.
  • Perform any other duties related to this role as reasonably required.

Job Requirements:

  • Enhanced technical knowledge, including a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACCA Intermediate level, ICSA Diploma, CIB, STEP Diploma).
  • Experience at senior administration level within the offshore industry.
  • Excellent organisational and client management skills, with comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and the local regulatory environment.
  • Strong awareness of risk factors and compliance procedures.
  • Professional demeanour and ability to relate to individuals at all levels.
  • Advanced technical knowledge, including familiarity with company software and systems.
  • Good time management and thorough understanding of client files.
  • Strong appreciation for financial management issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to maintain and develop client relationships.
  • Solid understanding of compliance and technical issues to act as a role model for peers and junior staff.
