This role involves managing the day-to-day administration of a diverse portfolio of client funds and investment structures. The Administrator will work closely with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the portfolio and the delivery of high-quality service to clients. The position is permanent and requires commitment to adherence to policies, compliance, anti-money laundering regulations, and relevant legislation. The successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of fund administration, both regulated and unregulated, and maintain effective relationships with clients. Additionally, this role will include mentoring junior staff and ensuring effective billing and debt collection processes are implemented. The job necessitates a proactive approach to risk management and compliance, with the potential for evolving responsibilities as required.
Job Duties:
- Administer a portfolio of fund structures, including credit, real estate, and both regulated and unregulated vehicles
- Develop close working relationships with team members and clients, enhancing key relationships through regular communication
- Provide innovative and practical solutions to client queries, balancing commercial concerns with technical accuracy
- Ensure compliance with KYC procedures to retain knowledge of client businesses
- Monitor risk exposure and follow risk/review procedures consistently
- Escalate issues promptly to management teams and directors as appropriate
- Mentor junior team members, offering guidance and support
- Ensure timely and effective billing and debt collection
- Undertake any additional duties as required for the role
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of two years’ experience in funds, trust, and company administration
- Ideally possess a relevant professional qualification at Certificate Level (e.g., CGI/STEP)
- Excellent organisational abilities and client management skills
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and local regulatory environment
- Professional demeanour with the capacity to engage at all levels and promptly address client needs
- In-depth technical knowledge, including familiarity with fund administration software and systems
- Strong time management skills with a thorough grasp of client files
- Awareness of financial management issues, compliance, and related technical challenges
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with existing and potential clients
