Our client is seeking a permanent Assistant Accounts Officer to join their Financial Planning & Analysis team in Jersey. In this role, you will provide clear, accurate, and timely technical analysis to senior staff members within a high-pressure environment. As part of your development, you will receive training, guidance, and mentorship to help you build your skills and progress in an internal finance position. This opportunity is ideal for someone eager to learn on the job and take on accounting duties and responsibilities.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assist with the delivery of high-quality, complex, and insightful analysis and forecasting.
- Support the building and design of performance management reports across various systems and programming languages, with previous experience being advantageous but not essential.
- Analyse and evaluate data to ensure the accuracy of Management Information.
- Aid in the delivery of projects.
- Perform various reconciliations while focusing on accuracy and timely delivery.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting requests that assist management in making informed decisions.
- Offer internal support to a global Finance Department.
- Adhere to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures.

- Undertake any other duties as deemed necessary by management.
