The role of temporary Registry Officer involves supporting the operational activities of the Registry within a regulatory environment. This position is offered on a fixed-term contract for 12 months, with a full-time commitment of 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will report to the Registry Manager and collaborate with a team of Registry Assistants, Officers, and Managers. Daily responsibilities include providing high-quality support to users of the Registry, which encompasses reviewing business incorporation submissions, ensuring the accuracy of submitted details, and conducting due diligence reviews in compliance with AML/CFT/CPF laws. The officer will also identify and escalate risks related to applications and provide vital input to deter financial crime, thereby maintaining Jersey’s reputation as a well-regulated jurisdiction.
