Trainee Administrator

The Trainee Administrator position offers an excellent opportunity to develop within a supportive and ambitious team environment. This role involves close collaboration with various teams, including the Family Office Team, Accounting, Banking and Compliance department. The successful individual will be integral to a client workgroup, providing essential administrative support for multi-jurisdictional Trusts and Companies. Key responsibilities will include maintaining company and trust records, liaising with clients and professional advisors, and participating in ad hoc projects. Training will be provided on a daily basis by a designated buddy or mentor, ensuring that the new recruit develops the skills necessary for success. The organisation places significant emphasis on personal development, with annual Personal Development Plans in place.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain company and trust records, including due diligence, in accordance with procedures and AML regulations
  • Open and maintain bank accounts
  • Liaise with clients, professional advisors and other external parties
  • Prepare documentation for transactions, including Director, Shareholder, and Trustee minutes and resolutions
  • Enhance knowledge of all aspects of company and trust administration
  • Provide assistance and cover for the centralised banking and payments team during absences
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as necessary
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate timesheets daily

Job Requirements:

  • No prior experience required for this entry-level position
  • Educated to at least A-level or equivalent
  • Willingness to undertake further studies, such as STEP or ICSA
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in computer skills, particularly with MS Office
