Junior Administrator, Fund Administration

This position involves working as a Junior Administrator within the Fund Administration team in Jersey, contributing to the administration of various funds and co-investment vehicles. The role is designed to support the firm’s Smaller Mid-Cap workstreams as well as wider Mid-Market and Debt Opportunities, ensuring a comprehensive development of skills and knowledge across product lines. The Junior Administrator will engage in key responsibilities, including document management, scheduling meetings, and maintaining investor data. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Corporate Governance team to meet regulatory and legal standards, while also contributing to team initiatives. This full-time role offers invaluable exposure to the dynamics of fund administration within a leading investment firm.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for processing, record keeping, filing, and document management within the global e-signing team.
  • Schedule weekly board meetings, distribute documents, check quorum, and maintain records.
  • Track implementation of board decisions agreed at meetings and committees.
  • Maintain investor data, including contact details, bank accounts, and addresses in line with established procedures.
  • Prepare and process investor and investment payments.
  • Prepare and distribute investor-related transaction documents and reports.
  • Maintain statutory records and file necessary documents with relevant authorities.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual statutory filings and tax returns.
  • Input data into systems and coordinate administrative tasks effectively.
  • Understand reporting and corporate governance requirements to support compliance within the relevant frameworks.
  • Collaborate positively with colleagues across the organisation to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Engage in continuous professional development.

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant academic records including GCSEs (grades 5-9 as a minimum).
  • Some relevant experience in an administrative or company secretarial environment.
  • Proficient in IT, with experience of all MS applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
