Accounts Officer, Finance

This position is a permanent role within the Finance department, working in a hybrid environment. The Accounts Officer will assist the Associate Director/Manager and the team with operational tasks. It is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop their knowledge in trust or those who have experience in an internal finance role, particularly in utilizing accounting packages to deliver high-quality outputs. The role involves preparing and reviewing daily operational tasks, including invoices, credit notes, onboarding of new clients, and managing queries related to the sales ledger. The successful candidate will also manage a busy inbox, liaising with administration teams to ensure adherence to deadlines and maintain the billing processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Additionally, this role includes reviewing and processing client entity closedown requests, assisting with month-end reporting tasks, and supporting ad-hoc projects or requests. Upholding the Group’s policies and standards is essential, ensuring compliance with legislative regulations and adherence to risk and compliance procedures related to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.

Job Duties:

  • Preparation and review of daily operational tasks, such as invoices, credit notes, onboarding of new clients, and sales ledger related queries.
  • Managing a busy inbox and allocating queries to the team accordingly.
  • Liaising with administration teams to ensure adherence to deadlines and delivery of billing processes and SLAs.
  • Reviewing and processing client entity closedown requests.
  • Assisting with month-end reporting tasks.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects/requests.
  • Upholding the Group’s policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed.
  • Adhering to risk and compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in financial operations, particularly with sales ledger.
