Our client is seeking a talented Temp Talent Senior Administrator or Assistant Manager based in Jersey to join their team on a 12-14 month contract. This role is essential in supporting day-to-day recruitment and talent operations within the Channel Islands. You will serve as a key point of contact for employees and managers regarding various talent-related topics, ensuring successful implementation of key projects and processes while collaborating closely with colleagues across different locations. A proactive and people-focused approach is vital for engaging with various stakeholders and managing operational queries effectively.
JOB DUTIES:
- Act as the primary Talent contact in Jersey, addressing any recruitment and talent queries.
- Manage the recruitment process for experienced hires, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new talent, as well as handling associated mobility and immigration requirements.
- Conduct new starter inductions to ensure a smooth transition into the organisation.
- Provide advice to the business on matters related to employee leavers.
- Oversee professional qualification administration and coordinate queries with central teams when necessary.
- Promote a culture of accountability, ensuring adherence to policies and regular reviews.
- Maintain local relationships to uphold and enhance the organisation's brand.
- Support the delivery of essential HR operational activities, including performance and development processes, annual pay reviews, and qualifications promotions.
- Collaborate with Talent colleagues across the islands to align processes and enhance efficiencies for the Channel Islands Talent Team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated strong relationship-building skills with a proactive approach to work.
- Understanding of a broad HR remit and contemporary HR practices.
- Experience in fast-paced environments where quality delivery and client service are paramount.
- Ability to be resilient, practical, and a self-starter, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong Excel skills are ideal for managing HR-related tasks.
