Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Professional or Accountant to join their team, with a focus on corporate tax. The principal purpose of this role is to provide in-depth tax advice and compliance services while managing client relationships effectively. You will be involved in tackling various tax-related challenges, ensuring that all statutory requirements are met, and contributing to the enhancement of the client's corporate tax practices.
JOB DUTIES:
- Manage corporate tax compliance processes to ensure all filings and submissions are timely and accurate.
- Provide expert advice on tax-related matters, assisting clients with their queries and concerns effectively.
- Develop and implement tax strategies and solutions that align with clients’ financial goals and objectives.
- Oversee financial statements and assess tax implications based on current regulations and legislative changes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance compliance and risk management measures.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to remain informed of developments in the tax landscape and share insights with clients.
- Review and assess tax positions to identify areas for improvement and potential risks.
- Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- To be considered for this role, you must possess significant experience in a senior tax position, ideally within corporate tax.
- A professional qualification such as ATT, CIOT, or ACCA is essential for this opportunity.
- You should demonstrate robust knowledge of tax legislation, compliance frameworks, and corporate tax strategies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to navigate complex tax scenarios.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills will allow you to build lasting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in tax software and financial management systems is preferred.
- Prior experience in managing a team and delivering training will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
