Assistant Manager, Fund Solutions

Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager to join their team in Jersey. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a mix of on-site and remote work. In this role, you will support the management team in overseeing operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating various activities, managing processes, and liaising with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing team performance by driving process improvements, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring that operational tasks are executed efficiently. This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership qualities and a proactive mindset who seeks to make an impactful contribution in a dynamic environment.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations by coordinating tasks and ensuring that services are delivered effectively.
  • Support the management in developing and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Act as a key contact for clients and internal stakeholders, addressing queries and providing timely responses.
  • Oversee administrative functions and assist with documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and policies.
  • Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes to ensure that action items are captured and followed up.
  • Participate in financial processes, including budgeting, invoicing, and supporting billing activities as needed.
  • Contribute to audits by gathering required documentation and liaising with auditors to facilitate the audit process.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with team members to implement changes effectively.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated experience in a management support role or equivalent is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members while managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, is crucial for this position.
  • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems proactively is required.
  • Experience in financial administration and understanding of relevant compliance standards would be advantageous.
  • Ability to embrace change and drive improvements in processes and workflows is preferred.
