Client Relationship Manager, Funds

Our client is seeking a full-time Client Relationship Manager to join their team in Guernsey. This role plays an essential part in managing client expectations and delivering high-quality administration services for a portfolio of fund and corporate structures. The successful candidate will serve as a key contact for clients, ensuring they receive efficient and proactive support. This position involves liaising independently with clients, third parties, and board members, while also working collaboratively with colleagues to manage day-to-day relationships. The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment. Upon completion of the probationary period, the individual will take on signatory responsibilities, further solidifying their ownership in the role.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Manage day-to-day relationships and activities within a portfolio of clients.
  • Deliver a high level of professional service to diverse client relationships.
  • Prepare for and attend board meetings, including drafting agendas and minutes.
  • Assist company boards in ensuring good governance practices.
  • Liaise with professional third-party firms as necessary.
  • Process documentation related to investment transactions.
  • Facilitate communication among parties during transactions or corporate actions.
  • Assist with the processing of capital calls and distributions.
  • Adhere to operating procedures and internal policies.
  • Support company-wide objectives proactively.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team player within an open and transparent team environment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Fund Administration, Company Administration, or Company Secretarial role.
  • No formal qualifications required; however, there is an opportunity to study for professional qualifications.
  • Good grasp of verbal and written English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-organised with the ability to manage priorities and multiple deadlines proactively.
