Private Clients Broker

Our client is seeking motivated individuals to join their Private Clients team in Jersey. This role offers hands-on experience, full training, and a clear route to professional qualifications, all while delivering excellent service to clients. As a Private Client Broker, you will play a key role in helping high-net-worth individuals and families protect their most valued possessions, from cars and homes to art collections. You will be welcomed into a friendly, supportive team equipped with the tools and training necessary for your success. In this position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, while building trusted relationships that promote loyalty and satisfaction. The role also includes supporting your team in meeting targets, ensuring adherence to relevant internal policies, and engaging in professional development opportunities.

JOB DUTIES:

• Provide professional, helpful advice to clients through in-person meetings, phone communication, and email correspondence.
• Quote for new policies and make necessary changes to existing coverage.
• Handle client documentation with careful attention to detail and accuracy.
• Build trusted relationships with clients that encourage loyalty and satisfaction.
• Support your team in meeting established targets.
• Cross-sell additional products and services that may benefit clients.
• Adhere to company procedures and regulatory standards at all times.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A willingness to learn and a professional attitude are essential; previous insurance experience is not required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective client interaction.
• A friendly demeanor, with confidence in dealing with clients, will help in developing client relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy are paramount in handling client information.
• Excellent customer service skills are required, as is the ability to work well under pressure and without constant supervision.
• A positive, can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn are critical for success in this role.
• Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams, are needed.
• Commitment to professional growth, supported by opportunities to work towards the Certificate in Insurance and beyond.
