Our client is looking for a full-time Pensions Senior Administrator to join their team in Guernsey. This role is fundamental in administering a diverse range of pension and annuity arrangements for various clients, requiring excellent attention to detail and a developing knowledge of the field. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality customer service standards, liaising with clients and professional intermediaries, and ensuring all transactions and statutory records are accurately processed and maintained. JOB DUTIES:
- Manage your own portfolio of clients, ensuring high quality and timely service.
- Liaise promptly with professional intermediaries and clients while adhering to agreed service standards.
- Process client transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Keep statutory records up to date and accurately maintained at all times.
- Handle new business applications, death cases, and closures efficiently.
- Process internal and external payments and receipts meticulously.
- Ensure compliance with scheme rules, policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Maintain records and prepare minutes, ensuring effective system management.
- Assist junior staff with queries and support the resolution of issues.
- Comply with compliance and risk procedures while liaising with internal teams as necessary.
- Engage in the collection of fees and actively follow up on any debtor positions.
- Review financial data relevant to the entity and appointed third parties regularly.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Ideally educated to ‘A’ Level standard, or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
- Attainment of, or progression towards, a relevant professional certificate is preferred.
- Experience with multi-member schemes and EFURBS is preferable.
- Strong ability to multitask and respond quickly to client and intermediary requests.
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills with a keen attention to detail.
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude is essential.
- Previous experience managing a client portfolio is required.
- Ability to work to deadlines with minimal supervision and be a good team player.
