Service Manager - Isle of Man

Our client is seeking a Service Manager to join their team, on a permanent full-time basis, to provide service management leadership and be accountable for customer satisfaction within the company client base. You will hold a portfolio of Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers, and meet on an agreed meeting schedule and perform service management reviews, including reporting, minuting the meetings and tracking actions. You will also deal with logged faults or escalations on behalf of the customer, ensuring the appropriate engineering resource is providing effective customer updates. The successful candidate will understand licence and regulatory rules of a telecoms business and have experience in dealing directly with customers by showing them excellent customer service. Experience in a service management position and performing a similar role in an Enterprise business services company is essential.

Residential Engineer - Guernsey

In this specialised role you will install, test, and commission Residential services and associated wiring systems, telephones and terminals and train the customers in the use of these systems. In addition to this, you will be required to work at heights in order to install and repair services which will involve climbing poles and the use of ladders in all weather conditions. You will have a basic knowledge of cabling systems and techniques and be able to work at heights in order to install and repair services. You will install, test, and commission residential and business fibre broadband services together with associated wiring systems, WiFi routers and terminals.  This includes working at heights to install and repair services in adverse weather conditions. Access Network Fibre Jointing Technician - Guernsey

This is a new and exciting fixed term contract until December 2026, to carry out construction/installation/maintenance of underground duct and fibre cables in the Access Network of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, Jersey and IOM, to include the termination and installation of cables at distribution points, fibre nodes, CBT’s and optical mainframes. This role does involve working at heights and underground for installation and repairs and the main duties will include, but are not restricted to, interception and splicing of fibre optic cables, end to end testing, fault tracing and the interpretation of schematics. You will need basic knowledge of cabling systems and techniques, good vision, digital skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills and good interpersonal skills with both internal and external customers. A qualification in computer science or a related field is desirable as is experience or a qualification in electrical/electronic engineering.
