Our client is seeking a Computer Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role suited to a candidate with 2–3 years’ experience working with VMware or who holds VMware Certified Professional (VCP) status. The position offers the opportunity to work with a respected employer in a technical environment, supporting and enhancing infrastructure services.
Job Duties:
- Maintain and support VMware infrastructure across multiple environments
- Implement and monitor virtualisation solutions in line with best practices
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and performance
- Perform system upgrades, patching and regular maintenance
- Assist in planning and delivering new infrastructure projects
- Maintain documentation for systems and procedures
Job Requirements:
- 2–3 years’ experience working with VMware technologies
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of virtualisation, networking and storage concepts
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server environments
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
