Our client is seeking a Senior Manager to oversee a client administration team and deliver exceptional services to a portfolio of complex and high-net-worth clients. This permanent, full-time role is based in Jersey and requires a strategic leader who can foster a culture of excellence, drive business development, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Job Duties:
- Provide technical expertise, ensuring compliance with corporate governance, anti-money laundering policies, and other regulations.
- Act as a higher authority on technical matters, sharing knowledge with the team and ensuring all CPD requirements are met.
- Lead and manage the team by recognising performance, providing feedback, and addressing development needs.
- Ensure the team delivers superior client service through effective communication, training, and delegation of responsibilities.
- Manage team resourcing, oversee allocation of client entities, and ensure cover for absences.
- Monitor and escalate risks in the client portfolio, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.
- Act as an Authorised ‘A’ Signatory and oversee the administration of the team’s portfolio, striving for continuous improvement.
- Travel to meet with clients and intermediaries as required.
- Contribute to new business activities, liaising with colleagues and clients to identify opportunities.
- Manage the financial performance and operational effectiveness of the team.
Job Requirements:
- Hold a JFSC “Table 4” Qualification.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience, including significant experience in leading and managing people.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the local finance industry, legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of client financial statements and experience managing high-performing teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintaining up-to-date CPD (minimum 25 hours annually).
- Demonstrated commitment to client service excellence.
- Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills, with a commercial approach to business development.
- Proven ability to inspire confidence in clients and colleagues through proactive and disciplined work.
