Technology Trainer

Our client is seeking a Technology Trainer to join their Initiatives and IT team. The role involves designing, delivering, and evaluating training programmes for new systems, system upgrades, document production and management, and system induction programmes for new colleagues. Additionally, the Technology Trainer will oversee the administration and development of the Learning Management System (LMS) and manage global learning and development platforms.

Job Duties:

  • Design, deliver, and evaluate training programmes for new systems and system upgrades.
  • Work closely with IT colleagues during system implementation projects to support user acceptance testing and develop expertise in new systems.
  • Deliver training using various methods, including eLearning, virtual training, webinars, classroom sessions, floor walking, and one-to-one training.
  • Maintain records of learner development and implement assessments to evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Design and deliver induction programmes for new joiners, covering all relevant systems.
  • Act as a key contact for new colleagues, providing system support and guidance during their first weeks.
  • Collaborate with internal document production experts to develop and deliver training on document branding, templates, and management protocols.
  • Oversee the administration and development of the Learning Management System, including user access management, training records, and eLearning content publishing.
  • Promote and manage global learning platforms, ensuring colleagues maximise available learning resources.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong IT skills, including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word.
  • Practical experience with business solutions such as document management, billing, and client relationship management systems.
  • Experience coordinating classroom and online training within virtual learning environments.
  • Excellent training and presentation skills in both one-to-one and group settings.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a diverse global team.
  • Minimum two years of training experience, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Experience deploying learning via an LMS and/or creating eLearning content (desirable).
  • A formal training qualification (preferred but not essential).
