Our client is seeking a Senior Manager to lead risk, regulation, and FinTech consulting engagements. This role involves advising financial services clients on regulatory compliance, risk management, and business transformation, while overseeing project delivery and client relationships. The successful candidate will contribute to business growth, manage teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services. This position requires travel between the Channel Islands and the UK, with opportunities for wider international engagements.
Job Duties:
- Managing project delivery teams and overseeing timelines to ensure successful outcomes.
- Leading client engagements, providing regulatory and risk management advice.
- Overseeing the development of tailored solutions for financial services clients.
- Ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships and networking within the industry.
- Supporting business development activities, including proposal writing and pitching.
- Coaching and mentoring junior team members to support their professional growth.
- Keeping up to date with regulatory changes in Jersey and Guernsey.
- Leading initiatives in technology and process automation related to financial services.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of seven years’ experience in financial services, including at least four years in risk, regulatory, or FinTech consulting.
- Strong understanding of Anti-Financial Crime regulations across Jersey and Guernsey.
- Experience managing teams and delivering projects within tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Familiarity with financial services technologies such as CLM workflows, screening tools, and transaction monitoring solutions.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A relevant qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CISI, ICA, ACAMS, PRINCE2, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or CFA is desirable.
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
