Our client is seeking a Temporary Administrator to join the Cash Management Team for a six-month period. This role involves processing fixed deposits, foreign exchange deals, payments, and receipts while ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines and regulatory requirements.
Job Duties:
- Administer and process fixed deposits and foreign exchange deals.
- Process all payments and receipts efficiently and in accordance with banking cut-off times.
- Prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Bookkeep all related transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Complete cash management reports within agreed time frames.
- Build and maintain relationships with third parties.
- Assist with developing and implementing control mechanisms and preventative measures.
- Participate in ad hoc projects as required.
- Ensure compliance with risk management, regulatory requirements, and AML legislation.
- Maintain CPD requirements in line with qualification level and in-house procedures.
- Adhere to core values and expected behaviours set by the organisation.
Job Requirements:
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong telephone and written communication skills.
- Ability to see tasks through to completion.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to present information clearly.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles.
- Awareness of operational risk.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
