Senior Trust & Company Administrator

Our client is seeking a Senior Trust and Company Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This full-time position will be based in their Alderney office; however, candidates based in Guernsey who are willing to travel occasionally will also be considered. This is an excellent opportunity for a STEP or ICSA qualified professional to work within a busy environment focused on private client services. The successful candidate will provide high-level support to relationship officers and clients, ensuring a consistently exceptional standard of administration and service delivery.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain bookkeeping records and general administration of a portfolio of trusts and companies
  • Prepare statutory documents including minutes, agreements, and trust instruments
  • Liaise directly with clients, intermediaries, and financial institutions
  • Manage the purchase and sale of a wide range of investments and assets, including property transactions
  • Process payments, distributions, invoices, and investment transactions
  • Participate in the investment process and ensure timely and accurate entry of transactions into trust and company records
  • Ensure all client due diligence documentation is current and compliant
  • Prepare detailed client reports
  • Manage and supervise team members as required

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in trust and company administration
  • STEP or ICSA qualified
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Ability to prioritise workload independently and adapt to changing business needs
  • Team player with a proactive and flexible approach
  • Strong commitment to continuous learning and regulatory adaptation
  • Good academic background, including GCSE/O Levels in English and Mathematics
