Our client is seeking a temporary Assistant Company Secretary to support the Group Company Secretary. This role will assist in ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements while providing effective company secretarial support and administrative assistance. This is a temporary, full-time opportunity.
Job Duties:
- Assist the Group Company Secretary with day-to-day company secretarial tasks and governance administration
- Help ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements
- Maintain company records and statutory registers
- Support the preparation and distribution of board packs and minutes
- Assist with filings and submissions to relevant regulatory authorities
- Provide administrative support for meetings and corporate governance projects
- Contribute to the smooth running of company secretarial functions across the Group
Job Requirements:
- Relevant qualification such as ICSA (CGP) or equivalent
- Sound knowledge of company secretarial practices and Jersey Company Law
- Previous experience in a similar company secretarial role within the financial services sector
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently within tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant secretarial software
