Our client is seeking a Business Solutions Architect to join their central services team on a permanent, full-time basis. This Manager-level role is pivotal to supporting the design, development, and business-wide adoption of digital solutions using Microsoft 365 tools including SharePoint, Power Platform, and Power BI. The successful candidate will contribute to projects that drive digital transformation, improve operational efficiency, and replace legacy systems with modern automated workflows. This is a hands-on role working with stakeholders across global locations.
Job Duties:
- Lead the design and architecture of Microsoft 365 solutions, particularly SharePoint, Power Platform, and Power BI
- Manage and deliver business improvement projects and sprints across departments
- Collaborate with InfoSec, IT, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment with policies and security standards
- Enhance and maintain the Power BI Management Information System in line with business requirements
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and solution designs
- Develop, test, and deploy Power Platform applications and workflows, supporting UAT and go-live activities
- Act as SharePoint subject matter expert, overseeing site structure, permissions, and governance
- Promote best practice and support user adoption through training, documentation, and guidance
- Monitor the Power Platform roadmap and identify opportunities for new capabilities
- Carry out other duties as required
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of five years’ experience in business systems, technology projects, or process improvement
- Proven experience designing and deploying PowerApps, Power Automate flows, and SharePoint solutions
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 integration capabilities and limitations
- Relevant Microsoft certifications or professional qualifications (desirable)
- Track record of successful project delivery in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Experience with data modelling, permissions management, and governance in Microsoft 365
- Strong problem-solving and research skills
- Excellent project management and technical documentation abilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels of the business
- Proficiency in digital platforms to manage workflows and reporting
- Ability to prioritise, work independently, and meet deadlines
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and willingness to learn new technologies
