Transformation Officer

Our client is seeking a Transformation Officer to join their transformation department on a permanent, full-time basis. This role plays a key part in driving organisational change across the business by enhancing processes through technology. A particular focus will be on the development, maintenance and improvement of Power BI dashboards and reports in Azure Data Lakes, alongside introducing artificial intelligence to streamline manual processes.

Job Duties:

  • Support transformation initiatives by co-ordinating activities aligned with strategic business improvement goals
  • Provide operational and administrative support to teams, including scheduling and workflow planning
  • Gather, interpret and summarise data to support decision-making, utilising Power BI to visualise client, financial and operational metrics
  • Automate and optimise data pipelines to increase efficiency and reduce manual tasks
  • Conduct data validation, quality assurance and ensure consistency across datasets
  • Provide end-user training and support on Power BI, including best practice guidance
  • Assist teams in adapting to new systems and technologies through effective process change management
  • Guide and support less experienced team members to promote professional growth
  • Handle moderately complex issues and escalate advanced queries when required

Job Requirements:

  • Strong technical understanding to support a range of business transformation and technology enhancement activities
  • Proficiency in Power BI, with experience in creating dashboards, reports and data visualisations
  • Knowledge of Azure Data Lakes and data pipeline optimisation
  • Working towards or holding a relevant qualification, with commitment to CPD requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to a wide audience
  • High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate documentation of moderate complexity
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines, with guidance where needed
  • Capacity to resolve moderately complex issues with appropriate support
  • Awareness of risk and ability to consider the broader impact of assigned tasks
  • Positive attitude, professional approach and commitment to continuous improvement
