Our client is seeking a SharePoint / Modern Workplace Consultant to join them on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 migrations, and digital workplace transformation. You will take the lead on SharePoint migration and modernisation projects, working with clients to deliver high-quality, secure, and user-friendly collaboration environments. The position requires hands-on experience in planning and executing technical solutions, particularly across SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, and other elements of the Microsoft Modern Workplace stack.
Job Duties:
- Design and deliver technical solutions using the Microsoft Modern Workplace suite
- Lead SharePoint Online migration projects from legacy platforms and file shares
- Create modern SharePoint Online intranets and collaboration environments
- Consult with clients to understand requirements and translate them into tailored solutions
- Ensure cohesive integration across Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Viva, Syntex, and Power Platform
- Develop governance frameworks, metadata, site architecture, and user experience designs
- Configure Microsoft 365 environments to meet security and compliance requirements
- Conduct infrastructure and content assessments to recommend improvements
- Deliver end-user training, change management support, and documentation
- Stay current with Microsoft 365 innovations and provide guidance on continuous improvements
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions
- Demonstrable success in leading SharePoint migration and modernisation projects
- Strong consultancy skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical outcomes
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 governance, compliance, and security configurations
- Familiarity with the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Microsoft Teams and Power Platform
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Confident in stakeholder engagement and working in fast-paced, project-based environments
- Ability to conduct end-user training and support change initiatives effectively
